Hey Guys, I came across the charming Long Island Beach cottage and instantly knew my readers would love it! This Beach house was featured on the blog Bright Bazaar, the authors of the blog, Will Taylor and his husband, Toby Taylor-Willis, are lifestyle bloggers and live in New York City. They were searching to buy a house outside of the city to escape to on the weekends. They found this two bedroom gamble-style house with a lovely yard in the towm of Bellport in New York, but it definitely needed an update. They redid the floors, opened up rooms and updated the kitchen. They teamed with the design team at One King's Lane, who helped them create a beautiful design concept, and wow is it magnificent, this house is the right mix of masculinity and charm. What I love most about this house, is the continuity ofnatural textures and color scheme through out the cottage. The interior designers added decorative accents in every room, that ties the rooms together, and kind of tells a story. I think when you add home decor to your home, less is always the best, (I am OCD about clutter) so take your time and pick pieces you love, and that adds something special to a room.
