Studio McGee’s first international design project, located on the sunlit southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, is a masterful expression of Organic Modern design. Within Cabo Dos Vistas, the philosophy is clear: a serene, harmonious environment fosters a serene, harmonious mind—and nowhere is this principle more beautifully realized.
At Cabo Dos Vistas, outdoor living is the heart of the design. A central courtyard anchors the home, embraced on three sides by a U-shaped architectural layout and entered on the fourth through a dramatic cascading staircase. Moving through the communal living spaces—framed by steel and glass doors that open the entire expanse—you’re immediately drawn to sweeping views of the Pacific, a sun deck, and a pool that blur the boundary between indoors and out. “It’s an indoor-outdoor living concept through every single space,” Shea notes. Beyond the central courtyard, moments to soak in the Baja sunshine abound, from intimate side courtyards and private bedroom balconies to a firepit lounge designed for gathering. Every detail, both inside and out, was brought to life in collaboration with Brandon Architects and Cabo Development Group.
