An old and dated Mediterranean-style home was reborn into a Modern Coastal Masterpiece. Intimate Living Interiors, overwhelming turned this spacious 10,000 sq.ft. house located in San Juan Capistrano, California into a warm and beautifully curated family retreat. My favorite part of the design of this house, is how you can still feel like you’re living in a Mediterranean-style villa in Tuscany, and yet the layout makes you feel relaxed, casual, and sophisticated-typical of California Coastal interior design. My favorite details of this house are the round archways, the numerous gorgeous tile fireplaces, the wood beam ceilings, and the warm textured accents. Modern coastal architectural details are best paired with simple lined modern furnishings to create a polished carefree home that California coastal style is known for.
