This funky charming cottage on Martha's Vineyard, was featured in Country Living magazine. I am sure it has stolen your heart, as it did mine. Bright white walls, slip-covered furniture, vintage flea market finds, antiques and new furniture, and a mix of colorful quilts and linens give this cottage a happy feel, someplace you dream about all winter long..and it is just a skip and hop to the beach. We found another dreamy beach cottage to share with you all. This beach cottage is actually a two-bedroom boat house on Lake Rosseau, the main house is up the hill. I would be perfectly content if this was the main house. How cool would it be if your friends inviting you up for a week on the lake and you get up to the lake expecting you will be staying in a bedroom, which would be awesome because your at a house on a lake for a week, and they show you your diggs...and you literally have your own house on the lake? Then you walk in the door and you expect it to be rustic cottage, and then you enter and realize this isn't your typical boat house, but has been renovated by an interior designer. Wow..The designer is Anne Hepfer, who has been featured in numerous design magazines. The interior of the houses walls and beams are awash in cottage white, the floor to ceiling windows and sliders are on three sides of the boathouse and bring in the natural light and spotlight the gorgeous views of the lake, and the furniture and home decor are a mix of different shades of blue, white and sand. ..so beach pretty!
Sophia worked with interior designer Alexander M Reid, to design her beautiful house in the Hollywood Hills. The talented actress, who has starred in the hit series One Tree Hill and Chicago P.D., is also a huge philanthropist and is passionate about giving back to the arts and the environment. The interior of her house has a contemporary laid back beach vibe with a bit of city girl mixed in. You can see that Sophia Bush's California upbringing (from Pasadena, California) influenced her home's interior-a relaxed west coast style home with the right amount of sophistication mixed in..definitely a beach pretty favorite!
Kennebuckport, Maine is one of my favorite little towns in New England. I love the quaint beach houses that line the rocky Maine coast and harbors filled with old school wooden sailboats, a downtown square filled with little shops, and I may add I found a spot to sit outside with a cold beer and a delicious lobster salad roll and enjoy the fresh Maine air.
Interior Designer, Cortney Bishop is a South Carolina designer, and her design philosophy is that she is deeply motivated in creating an house that is tailor-made for your vision and that when you walk through the door you say "Welcome Home". I do find that I am drawn to houses that I feel I would be very happy living in...or be blessed to call home. I can imagine life here...so true to her philosophy she succeeded with me because she wants her clients to feel at ease in their home and feel inspired to live life there... So inspired and so Beach Pretty!
Two bloggers found their dream beach house escape and rolled up their sleeves and worked hard to create their charming beach cottage. They teamed with the design team at One King's Lane, who helped them create a beautiful design concept, and wow is it magnificent, this house is the right mix of masculinity and charm.
Gorgeous Hampton's estate designed by interior designer Tamara Magel...instantly fell in love with the natural elements and beauty of this 11 bedroom, 13 bath luxury beach house..simply I need an invitation for a sleepover.
