This Spectacular Cottage Will Have You Dreaming of Lakeside Living

Hi Friends,

This house designed by Cory DeFrancisco, fits into Beach Pretty’s philosophy of casual, chic & effortless lifestyle. When Cory first visited the two-acre waterfront property, he was so impressed with the beauty of the land and incredible views of Lake Rosseau, that when he built the spectacular cottage he vowed to integrate the structure into the land without destroying the gorgeous landscape. The interior of the cottage is impeccable, a traditional coastal home with a contemporary twist. Cory definitely wanted to emphasize the view of the lake in the back of house, so he installed floor to ceiling minimal black window and door casing, and the view is breathtaking. The interior of the house has cathedral ceilings and walls which are painted white, and he furnished the house with stylish comfortable furniture-mixing in natural wood tones and soft-muted textures that keeps the interior light and airy. For him to achieve his goal of keeping the interior warm but a little edgy, he add contemporary light fixture, abstract artwork and pops of black throughout. ..I think he succeeded beautifully! This beach cottage is an inspiration for you all to design a chic & cozy lakeside retreat! I am so impressed at how beautiful the interior and exterior of this house is….so beach pretty!
