My passion is all things Beach Pretty...and this is the creme la creme to me. Most houses I blog about meet my criteria of light, airy, not too coastal, not too cluttered or too fancy..so if you ever wondered what my ideal house would be..this is definitely one of them. This house was Muskosa Living, who get my vision of beach house design, they create beautiful homes that celebrate the elegance of casual coastal-inspired living.
We found another dreamy beach cottage to share with you all. This beach cottage is actually a two-bedroom boat house on Lake Rosseau, the main house is up the hill. I would be perfectly content if this was the main house. How cool would it be if your friends inviting you up for a week on the lake and you get up to the lake expecting you will be staying in a bedroom, which would be awesome because your at a house on a lake for a week, and they show you your diggs...and you literally have your own house on the lake? Then you walk in the door and you expect it to be rustic cottage, and then you enter and realize this isn't your typical boat house, but has been renovated by an interior designer. Wow..The designer is Anne Hepfer, who has been featured in numerous design magazines. The interior of the houses walls and beams are awash in cottage white, the floor to ceiling windows and sliders are on three sides of the boathouse and bring in the natural light and spotlight the gorgeous views of the lake, and the furniture and home decor are a mix of different shades of blue, white and sand. ..so beach pretty!
