House Tour-A California Cottage That Will Brighten Your Day
Hi Friends,
I thought you all would love this California cottage renovation featured in Better Homes and Garden magazine. The owners’ started by painting the exterior a gorgeous shade of blue-grey, an adding large windows and french doors to let the natural light shine and warm the interior of the house. They removed some interior walls from the kitchen to unite the pretty breakfast nook (my favorite room) and the dining area. Every room has a detail that you will want to copy, and adds to the updated cottage charm. Some of my favorite details are: The beautiful shade of turquoise they painted the wood floor in the kitchen, the gorgeous fabric they chose for the roman shades, vintage pendant lighting, the pretty blue-grey shade they painted the bathroom vanity, and I love the breakfast nook. As all designer’s say …the details express your style.
