Making Waves in Malibu
Interior Designer Vanessa Alexander task was to renovate this amazing Mediterranean style home that had beautiful bones. The house had charming old world architecture including Saltillo tile and arches, cobblestones, and corbels, so she opened up the rooms and highlighted the gorgeous Pacific views, dressed the rooms with every girls dream style- easy going chic California style, and made the beach house hip enough for any family that lived on a bluff in Malibu. Originally the family wanted her to make the home livable, until they decided on a plan to tear it down and build a new house. Except Vanessa wowed them by designing a house they couldn’t dream of leaving…and I agree. This house makes waves in anyone’s heart..so Beach Pretty!
