House Tour-A Calm and Beautiful Lakeside Home
Hi Friends,
To create this light, bright and timeless interior she started with an all white interior. The interior designer, Bria Hammel created an inviting warm ambience by layering texture on the white walls and ceilings. She did this by adding visual architectural detail such as: wainscoating and decorative molding to the walls; beadboard and coffered ceilings; and floor to ceiling shaker kitchen cabinets .
The furniture, textiles, light fixtures, rugs that she chose for the house decor created a calm and cheerful lakeside home. By using a mix of organic materials, warm wood tones, and a beautiful color palette in coastal hues of blue, grey and sand, and walls of french doors to bring the outdoors indoors she designed a fresh and young traditional house on a lake that would be on everyone’s dream summer home.
