A Timeless Mediterranean Estate in Santa Monica

As you enter the interior of this Mediterranean style house you are greeted by a beautiful foyer, as in any home the foyer says a lot about the the space you are creating. The foyer of this house does not disappoint-the floors in the foyer are dressed with antique French limestone and the winding staircase also has beautiful tile….so you know when you enter this house-that it will be exquisite. Staying true to the bones of the house, the designer Tammy Randall Wood of Interior Archeolgy, designed a timeless light-infused house incorporating authentic materials, refurbishing the floors, adding a wall of french doors that brings the outside inside and giving a breathtaking view of the vineyards and far-away mountains. This house was featured in Luxe Interior + Design (and on the cover), in the article Tammy was quoted saying

“A Spanish home really harmonizes with the landscape in Southern California,” says Wood. “There’s an unhurried energy.” That harmony, both inside and out, is evident in the finished product. “My aim was to be able to feel like the house was clean and sophisticated but everyone could run and jump on the couches and talk all night with the doors open,”.
