This  beach house is a crown jewel sitting so Beach Pretty on Newport Harbor, the architect and designer Carlton Graham of Graham Architects located in Laguna Beach designed and elegant warm contemporary dream house.  The house was originally built in 1971, by Galway Builders and designed by Edward Gittings.  This house is located on a prestigious island that is shaped like a horseshoe and in the middle of the island is a lagoon.  Carlton Graham updated the style of the house with strategically placed skylights and windows that flood the walls with light.  Updated the interior with white oak beams, limestone sand tile and glass windows that embrace the colors of natural outdoors of beach living.  The open-floor living concept creates serenity and a beautiful flow through out the living quarters.  The piece de resistance of this beach house, is the courtyard in the middle of the house, with a gorgeous pool that has a  bridge walkway over the pool to get you to and from the other part of the house...it is simply breathtaking!
