This perfect beach house was designed by Johnson and McLeod Design Consultants and is located of the coast of Vancouver, on Pender Island. The designers main goal when renovating this 2,800 square foot beach house was to bring the light shining in and to emphasize the gorgeous views of the Pacific ocean....so Beach Pretty!
The planked floor tiles are actually made of Italian porcelain, and they are heated to keep you cozy and warm on Pacific Northwest summer nights.
The floor to ceiling windows are to die for..I would love to chill in those leather recliner chairs and day dream...and it would also be a breathtaking place to a watch summer storm!
I love the contemporary modern pendant lighting that are hung at different lengths..a great focal point.. this kitchen is super clean and modern, but I do like how the designer incorporates homey details to keep the interior of this home looking comfortable and not stark...just like a beach house should be..
This huge window over the kitchen counter is incredible...and the view is so impressive. Besides the view, the teak cabinets steel the show in this kitchen, really beautiful.
The family room is a nice mix of contemporary furniture.. stylish for sure, but this beach house didn't forget the need for plenty of seating (which is a must..with any beach house...usually have company all season long) with the light gray sectional sofa...absolutely love the two modern living room chairs.
Even on the outside the designer continues the contemporary vibe..this dark gray outdoor living furniture with a pop of color, adding orange pillows and throws..ii is perfection....what a lovely deck to light the fire pit and watch the moon rise.
