Beach Pretty House Tour: Today's Dream Beach House in the Hamptons

Today's Dream Beach House in the Hamptons

Chango & Co., the Brooklyn-based design firm that helped create this beautiful beach house in Amagansett, a small hamlet in East Hampton, simply one of our favorites...

Thomas Heine, an architect from the Hamptons, designed the layout of this six-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot cedar shingle house and he finalized the layout and selected the  finishes and materials for the beach house.

I love this artsy wooden table and this simple one of  a kind sculpture...again beauty in simplicity.  Natural Fiber Rugs by Sacco Carpet.

Such a cozy inviting family room...white slip covers and pillows by Chango & Co.

An all white kitchen with large windows to bring in the natural light ...a total dream for any cook!

Fresh white walls, bleached oak wide-plank floors give this house a beachy feel, but the steel black windows, coffered ceilings and cool pendant lighting gives this beach house an open updated look.  The wicker kitchen table and chairs by Restoration Hardware

This backyard is insanely perfect.

Looks so inviting, and  white outdoor umbrellas are so chic

What a lovely afternoon on the terrace, and enjoy the lunch in style!  Similar Outdoor Dining Table.

Simplicity...I love a simple table for an afternoon lunch by the pool... a bouquet of flowers with one type of flower adds a tranquil touch. Similar White ad Blue Napkins

I love the fresh look Hydrangea blooms look in a large glass vase.  The driftwood color of this teak outdoor furniture is so natural and can be dressed up or down with cushions and pillows

In the master bedroom, an upholstered headboard and bench from Chango & Co. add warmth via their natural oat color and coolness by virtue of their linen fabric. The round mirror from Chango & Co. opens up the space and is reminiscent of a porthole. Enjoy the morning sunrise and surf on your own private deck .

Elegant but casual spa-like bathrooms with white marble floors and shower...a luxurious way to end the day.

Beach houses is a place to invite your family & friends for some vacation time, and when building or restoring your beach house consider adding little nooks in your house, with built-in draws, book shelves and window seating , it adds a place to relax to read a book on a lazy afternoon, and gives you even more storage space.

The kids can chill in these hanging wicker chairs from Serena & Lily, hopefully they share. This anchor wallpaper decor is precious for a boy's bedroom

The bunks have individual lighting from Circa Lighting, the nautical bedding is from Pottery Barn, I absolutely adore the Arrow Indigo Pillows from Filling Spaces, and the striped throws are from Chango &Co.throws.

The wall decor is so whimsical for a little boy's nursery, the anchor decals are from Urbanwalls.
