A family dreamed of eventually moving to the Cape from the suburbs of Boston some day, and one day this family of seven found the perfect piece of property-and the dream became reality. The put together some very talented team and they built and designed this pretty house in the dunes. They did want a modern exterior of the house, but wanted it to fit in with the neighborhood. So when they picked the materials to use for the exterior they opted for Alaskan Yellow Cedar, which weathers to gray that is a staple with most of the homes on the Cape.

The kitchen and family room overlook the water and is just a beautiful space to entertain all year round, and during the summer months they bring the party outdoors. They designed a killer outdoor space, which has a built in outdoor kitchen, a refrigerator to store the cold beers, a grill to cook the gang some fresh catch after a beautiful day on the water. After a delicious dinner they can retire to the outdoor lounge area and sit in front of the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the sound of quiet night on the Cape and gaze at the moon beams dancing on the bay…it really doesn’t get any better than-friends, family and new memories.
