Beach Pretty House Tour: A Sullivan Island Relaxing Beach House Retreat

Sullivan Island is a beautiful island with pristine beaches just outside of Charleston.  Most of the residents are year-rounders or folks that rent a weekly vacation house.  This picture perfect post card island seems like a sleepy beach town, but don't let it fool you, because you can spend late afternoon's shopping in the boutiques and galleries. and then end the evening in one of their gourmet restaurants.

The owner's of this retreat wanted a quintessential beach house, which would be comfortable an cozy for their family of four,  but could also be large enough to host their family and friends.  On their wish list, was a  home designed with smaller bedrooms, furnished with twin beds and bunk beds that could work for them and for their guests, therefore; they also needed plenty of storage space.  The designer created their vision by incorporating  window seating throughout the home, which gave them the storage space they required,  and by doing so added to their living area.   She also added cool outdoor living spaces..that you can escape to and enjoy a summer siesta,  or invite your friends over and spend the evening entertaining alfresco.  The brilliant interior designer who granted this family their wish list is Jenny Keenan Interiors. Today's Beach Pretty House was designed to bring the outside in, with plenty of large windows, white walls and ceilings, and plenty pops of color.
