Design Notes-Create A Beautiful Home With Touches of Blue
Hi Friends,
If your like me you love the color blue and their are so many shades to choose from. So today, I brought you some of my favorite exterior and interiors that have touches of blue. Adding blue accents pieces to your interior helps to break up a neutral color palette: coastal blues add a sense of serenity; bold blues like the color indigo add a sophisticated modern edge: and shades of navy add a preppy effortless style. You can also play up textures with woven pieces of furniture, floral, striped or batik pillows, blue and white bed linens, a flat-weave blue and white stripe rug and my personal favorite accent pieces is a pretty gingham jar and Chinoisere planters or vases. I also love a touch of blue on the exterior of the house, a favorite of mine is a pretty blue door, and how lovely are blue shutters on the exterior of the house? Also, a gorgeous addition to your landscape is always the incredibly gorgeous blue hydrangea. So grateful that you stopped by today and I hope I gave you a little inspiration today:) Until next time…
